I've been going here since I was a kid and the staff have always treated my family kindly. I always order a plate of Plain Noodles and Orange Chicken, but all their food is amazing and the egg drop soup before your meal arrives is always top quality! You know you're in good hands with these people and they're authentic Chinese. A couple people seem to dislike their tone or "lack of greetings", but that's their accent and also they don't need to kiss your ass in order to be good service.
The best service! New Star’s War Wanton Soup is famous for good reason! It’s delicious! And the variety of reasonably priced lunch specials offers something for everyone. Dine in service is always friendly. It is not fancy, and the exterior maybe confusing with the other restaurant next door, but I’ve been a customer since 2006. Go here!
I been coming here since I was a kid and now I took my baby which was Abby approved.We got the calmari which was good, and got the walnut shrimp and king pao chicken. There egg drop soup is to die for.

We ordered takeout at our hotel - just in town for a couple of days. I had the best egg foo young I've ever had! HUGE serving size - a little spice in there, but really tasty! Even the vegetable fried rice was terrific! Chunks of vegetables - really great. And it arrived piping hot at our hotel! Thank you!
Been eating here since it opened over a decade ago but had lived out of town for a couple years. Upon returning nothing had changed. Quiet simple atmosphere and the food has been consistently delicious since day 1. The food is what it’s all about and it really shines. Delicious salt and pepper shrimp with perfect texture and saltiness. Good portions. Never disappointed here.
A nice little gem near right by hwy 198. I came here with some friends and we were not disappointed. You should definitely try their salt and pepper calamari and honey walnut shrimp! If you're craving some soup, try out their egg drop soup and hot and sour soup. They were so good that we ordered a container to go after dining in. It's a small mom and pop shop so wait times were about 15-25 minutes during rush hour, but it was well worth the wait. The server was nice and accommodating.
I have been coming here for when I have a craving for Chinese cuisine for around 6 years. The Owner is an amazing person, and really cares about the quality of the food. They have to have the best chow mein I have tasted. Its not overly saturated with grease like many other places. I also highly enjoy their egg flower soup! It also has to be the best I have had. New Star Restaurant is somewhere I always Recommend my friends and family to come if they want good quality food.
